Guleria was previously the director of sales and marketing at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, since its inception.
Royal Enfield has appointed Yadvinder Singh Guleria as their new chief commercial officer (CCO), and he will be responsible for spearheading the sales, marketing and aftermarket functions across India and all international markets.
“Guleria comes with extensive experience in the premium two-wheeler industry and has proven expertise in leading and driving business growth,” said B Govindarajan, CEO Royal Enfield. “Our international markets have been performing extremely well, and we have invested greatly in growing our market, retail infrastructure and in people across key markets. Guleria’s experience will be valuable in channeling and shaping future business growth for us.”
Guleria has his work cut out as Royal Enfield is on the verge of launching new models in the upcoming months. The Royal Enfield Hunter 350, Himalayan 450 and the new 650cc cruiser, expected to be badged the Super Meteor, are some of the important motorcycles in the pipeline.
Earlier in June, Guleria had stepped down as director for sales and marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI). Guleria had been part of the Japanese two-wheeler company for over two decades since its inception in 1999, in India.
