HTC Desire Description

The HTC Desire made something of a splash when it was first shown at the Mobile World Expo in Barcelona the other week and now we're delighted to announce that the first HTC Desire deals are available. The Desire is HTC's own version of Google's Nexus One phone which we can expect on contract later in the year. No prozes for guessing that the Desire is running the latest version of Google's Android OS alongside HTC's excellent Sense user interface.

The Sense/Android combo allows you to pull in Facebook and Twitter feeds, update your friend's status and upload your photos direct to Flickr. There's also seven different home screens each of which you can tweak to your own needs and add shortcuts and live web feeds - a pinch on the screen will even show you all 7 screens at once.

Of course the HTC Desire also includes today's standard feature set for a high end mobile, namely a decent 5MP camera, HSDPA, WiFi and assisted GPS.
