BlackBerry 9900 Bold review
The Blackberry Bold 9900 will look very familiar to users of previous Bolds but a lot has actually changed. First and foremost the Bold 9900 is now a touchscreen device - there's the standard QWERTY keyboard beloved of Blackberry users but the phone can also be operated via a capacative touchscreen. In practice when you're emailing you'll want to use the QWERTY keyboard but for other use the touchscreen is much quicker - best of both worlds!
Under the bonnet the Bold 9900 offers a super fast 1.2GHz processor backed up with a huge 8GB of memory - more than enough for all your data, photos, music etc. Blackberry OS has also been upgraded to offer a full touch screen experience with the usual pinches, zooms and swipes. The phone looks great too being finished in a classy brushed stainless steel case that reeks of quality. Surprisingly enough the 9900 Bold is also slimmer than previous Bolds.
No doubt the Bold 9900 will be a must have upgrade for Blackberry's millions of fans but equally importantly we can see the Bold 9900 appealling to a whole new market who are used to touchscreens but tempted by Blackberry's world beating email and messaging function.
